Wine Hives

The history behind the Wine Hive follows a similar pattern of solving the problem of a space-saving footprint that both displays and preserves one's wine collection. Most of the the people in George's wine tasting group, and throughout the country don't have the desire to have an expensive one storage unit that takes up a lot of valuable space. This was an opportunity for George to be inspired to solve this problem. George modified the design of an existing one storage system that held five cases of wine in a 2 ft.² footprint. He reasoned that while wall-mounted units of similar capacity are available; they were detrimental to storing wine. Direct sunlight, vibrations and changes in temperature would soon become a harsh reality for purchases of those systems. He designed and built a "Single Wine Hive" and gave several of them to family and friends garnering accolades for exquisite design. Nearly 25 years later, George perfected the design of the "Double Wine Hive" to further simplify the storage and presentation of one's collection. It's also a nice addition to the product line that Wine Tables by George™ has to offer.
